Placing an Order

Do I need to become a BJA member to place an order?
No you don’t. If you are interested in becoming a member of the British Judo Association you can find further information on the British Judo Association website.

What if I've forgotten my password?
Whilst on the ‘Sign In’ section select forgotten password and then enter the email address you registered with and a new password will be emailed to you.
You can then change the password by visiting the Account Information page once you have successfully logged in.  If you continue to experience problems logging into your account please contact support@judostore.co.uk

I can’t sign into my account?
If you are having problems signing in to your account, ensure that you are entering the correct email address and password for your existing account.
If you are still experiencing problems, try resetting your password.

How do I make a purchase?
Once you have found the item(s) that you wish to purchase, select the colour and size (id required) and select ‘Add to Cart’.
When you are ready to complete your order select ‘Proceed to Checkout’.
If you do not have a registered account with us, you will be asked to register here or proceed as a guest.
You will then need to enter the details necessary to complete your order.
Ensure that all of your address, order and payment details are correct – and select ‘Place Order.
If this is your first time ordering via our website, you may need to complete one last security check before your order is placed.
A ‘3D Secure’ page will be displayed and request information which is private and confidential. The 3D secure payment process is completed by your bank, and ensures that you enter the necessary personal information to use your card. If you receive any errors during the 3D Secure process please contact your bank prior to contacting us.

What payment methods does British Judo Store?
We accept the following credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Visa Electron and Maestro.

Is it safe to use my credit card online at British Judo Store ?
Our online shop uses the very latest encryption technology (SSL), to ensure that your transactions with us are private and protected as they travel across the internet.
When you proceed to make your purchase, your browser makes a connection to the secure section of our website. Your browser will show a padlock in the bottom right corner to indicate that it has made a secure connection and depending on your browser a window may pop-up to notify you that you are entering this safe area.
Judo Store is also PCI-DSS complient.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?
No. Once an order has been dispatched, the delivery address cannot be changed.

How will I know you received my order & when will payment be deducted?
You will receive an order confirmation email shortly after your order has been placed.
If you have not received this email, check your junk mail filter. If you have any problems, feel free to contact sales@britishjudo.org.uk
Then once we dispatch your order, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email which will include a tracking reference so that you may track your order in transit.
If there are any problems with your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.

How do I redeem a discount/voucher code?
You can redeem your discount/voucher code by entering the code in the area displayed within your shopping cart.
Once you’ve selected ‘Apply Voucher Code’, the discount will be applied to the order.
We do not allow for more than one promotion to be applied to any one order.
TeamCard Points can not be claimed when a discount/voucher code is used, if a TeamCard number is entered then the discount/voucher code will be removed. 

I’ve forgotten my order number. How can I retrieve it?
In the ‘My Account’ section, you can view your order history. All of your website placed order numbers are viewable here.
We also send an order confirmation email to the address your account is registered to. This email includes your order number.

Can I add items to an existing order?
No. You will need to complete a new order to purchase any additional items once you have completed the checkout process.

Can I cancel an order once it has been placed?
Your order can be cancelled up until the point that it has been dispatched in our warehouse. Please contact sales@judostore.co.uk quoting your order number if you would like to cancel an order.

Can I redeem my Team Judo Points

Yes. Please see the TeamCard section of the website for further details.

Stock/Products

I want an item, but it is sold out is there any chance I can still get one?
We are really sorry that we have sold out of the item(s) you wanted. Whist on the product page you can select the 'Sign up to get notified when this product is back in stock' link and we will notify you when this item comes back into stock.

Delivery

How much is delivery?
The amount charged for delivery will be dependant on your order value and delivery address. All orders below £5.01 will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Post at a cost of £1.00, orders totalling £5.01 or more will be dispatched via XDP Express at a cost of either £6.25, £8.25 or £15.00 dependant on the delivery address provided. You will be advised of the shipping cost applicable to your delivery address during the checkout process prior to completing your order.

How long will delivery take?
Delivery varies on all items.  General items that are in stock can take up to 14 days to reach you, embroidered belts may take up to 21 days and judo mats (all varieties) can take up to 6 weeks.  We will at all times aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

Has my order been dispatched yet?
When we dispatch your order, we will send a ‘dispatch confirmation email’ to the email address which is associated with your account.

Do I need to sign for my order?
All orders below £5.01 will not require a signature, orders above this amount will need to be signed for.

What do I do if there’s something wrong with my order? (Wrong item delivered, etc)

Which countries does Judo Store ship to?
We only accept and ship orders to UK addresses.

Returns

How long do I have to make a return?
You can return any item for an exchange or refund within 10 working days of receipt if you are not completely satisfied with it.
Returned items must be sent back to us unworn and in the original condition you received it from us – with all labels intact.

How do I return an item and where do I send it?
You will receive a returns slip with your order. Please complete the returns slip and enclose it with the items that you are returning. All returns should be sent to Judo Store Returns, British Judo, Suite B, Loughborough Technology Centre, Epinal Way, Loughborough. LE11 3GE.
*** Please remember to keep the Proof of Postage Certificate. If your parcel gets lost on the way back to us, we will need to obtain a copy of this to issue a refund/exchange.How do I exchange an item?
As above.

Can I return/exchange an item which was given to me as a gift?
You may return or exchange an item which was purchased for you as a gift, as long as you have the original dispatch note and returns form. Our normal returns/exchange policy applies.
Once we receive your return, the refund value will be issued to the person who paid for the item(s).
If there is a difference in price (money to be refunded), this refund will be issued to the person who paid for the goods.
If there is a difference in price (money to be charged), we will need to take payment from the gift recipient.
*** We have a legal obligation to notify the bill payer in all cases of returned or exchanged gifts. There can be no exceptions to this rule.

Will I be refunded the full value of my order?
You will be refunded for the item(s) that you return, at the price that you paid for the item. The initial delivery charge and any postage costs incurred for the return of the the item(s) will not be refunded unless it was a error on our part.
Once refunds have been processed and you have received the refund confirmation email, the transaction may take 5-10 working days to show on your statement.
Please note that refunds onto your credit/debit card may display in multiple transactions. For example, each item refunded separately.

Have you received my returns?
Returns may take 7-14 working days to be returned to us, and processed within our warehouse. Unfortunately, we cannot trace parcels which are on their way back to us.
Once we have processed your returns/exchanges, we will send you a refund confirmation email advising the action that we have taken.

General

Is my personal information kept private?
All the information you share with us is secure, private and confidential. At no point will we share your personal information without your consent.
To register an account with us, we will need to know your name, mailing address and email address. To process credit card orders online we also require your billing address, shipping address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date.
